Tossing excised text to the wind is probably littering.

i saw this a couple years back on instructables.com, which has some cool shelving ideas, including the Hungarian bookshelf.

That's a kick ass idea, except I don't have any books that I'd be willing to sacrifice to make the shelf. Oh wait, I think I have a Bible somewhere.
