Twenty university teams from across North America traveled 2,500 miles from Austin, TX to Calgary, Alberta, Canada in the world's longest all solar-powered car race. The competition is the 7th running of the North American Solar Challenge, a biennial 11-day race that pits teams of college students from the U.S. and Canada against each other, the weather and the challenges of making cutting-edge technology work. CSTV's hour-long documentary harnesses all the energy and passion to the finish line.

my dad designs solar panels. he donated panels to my high school back in the day so my brother could start a solar car club. it's just so neato!
