Inexperienced Jet-skiers Nearly Die at The Wedge

The Wedge is a notorious surfing spot in Newport Beach, California. It is known for its monstrous, misshapen (sometimes reaching 20 feet in height) shore-break. On June 25, 2016, an inexperienced couple rented a jet-ski, proceeded into the break, and were promptly capsized by a massive wave. This video captured the accident as well as the quick lifeguard response that saved both people from almost certain drowning.
