IN TREATMENT - Paul Weston on Guilt, Religion, and Family

Great scene from a really underappreciated show. If it is yer cuppa tea, you might check it out. Show needs more viewers if its going to survive. :)

Interesting descriptions from YT poster: "A touching scene from HBO's acclaimed psychological drama, 'In Treatment'. I think it helps to highlight some of the reasons as to why innocent children take on the burden of responsibility for their dysfunctional or abusive family and parental systems.

It also hints at how gods and governments are hysterical, violent societal fantasies arising from the abuse and indoctrination of children — the manifestations of the repressed fear, anxiety, trauma and rage inflicted in childhood but acted out (projected) unconsciously onto others in adulthood through 'abstractions' such as religion and politics.
