How to trick people into thinking you're good looking

Very funny stuff shot through with hefty doses of sarcasm.
laurasays...

"...go out and get yourself a job that's super degrading. I picked dancing in my underwear."
"Before I go to work, I like to pump myself up by crying over my master's degree..."
Love It.

I sort of preferred her before the make up

I agree, she was attractive at the start. I don't like heavy make up, sort of makes women clown like. It should be used to enhance rather than to cover up.

She needs some perspective on the definition of ugly.

I can't help but feel that she's probably been called an "ugly weirdo" (as she described) by a lot of these awful excuses for human beings, and this is her silly way of venting about it. Really clever parody.

The end result is the sort of night club dwelling tart I find repellent. She's much more attractive without all that crap on.

This is so sad on so many levels. I'm not gonna downvote it. But I could never upvote it.

I have very little respect for women who walk around looking like Trollops. I met my spouse in college, and her roommate would wear layer upon layer of foundation - so much so she looked like a wax statue. Then the copious amounts of black eye shadow, bright red lipstick, and then spray herself with a cloud of cheap perfume.

Needless to say, it was nasty. One wonders why they do this - do they think it'll help them get ahead? Nymphomania? Low self-esteem? Were they taught this by their mothers? Sisters? Television?

When I'm walking around a mall, I see these types of women around - the kind that see you, size you up, make eye contact, and then get insulted when you don't shower them with attention. When this happens, if I have a male friend nearby, I usually tap my buddy on the shoulder, point at them, and laugh so that they can see me.

May not be nice, but I figure it's good for them in the long run.

Comercial society translates well with the average, low self esteem woman. Have you seen American Beauty? "At least I'm not average!" "Yes, yes you are." Paraphrase...

I like the part where she's not actually funny at all, but in reality, is just annoying, but everyone on videosift upvotes anyway because they have abnormally low comedic expectations.

That is pretty naive of you to think I upvoted because of the *comedy*

Now, now. Not everything is about you. The sooner you realize this, the happier you will be.

You up-vote the rank, not the person.

This is the same sickening mentality that causes people to vote for class representatives, and public representatives alike (especially Presidents) based upon the individual's perceived popularity of the person in question.

It is based upon the instinct to want to "fit in," rather than forming one's own opinion based upon facts and observations. It's lazy, and it provides a quick excuse for people to not have to actually do the work of forming their own opinions at the risk of becoming the popular outcast. It allows dictatorships to be put into power. And for stupid videos to be upvoted on Videosift.

Oh. Well then. That explains it. This is the alternate universe where lemmings are the new humans.

I'm fairly certain she does, too. This felt like parody to me.

I have to disagree.

Parody? Perhaps, but if it is, it's a parody of herself. If she thinks she looks better before the makeup how do you explain all the other videos in her channel where she's doing "everyday" things with her friends with dark eye makeup, etc?

LOL...
you guys crack me up.
she is playing the role that the males in this society have deemed "sexy" and she does an exceptional job in pointing out the hypocrisy by way of self-deprecation.
yet i see some pretty high ideals from the males here.
i find that interesting....
so,
if what you all are saying is true to your ideals, then i guess it would be safe to assume you all like your porn stars to NOT wear make up,be flat chested and flat assed and be able to have an interesting conversation.
riiiiight.....
so you rub one out to the plain jane next door?
