Yeah, I'm fairly sure I've seen this same thing done with a Fiat, a Ferrari (360?) and a Ferrari F1.

Yeah they did this on Top Gear with a Mercedes and something else I think. Good luck finding anything that accelerates or corners nearly as fast as an F1 car.

I'd love to see them do the same thing with an F1 car and the latest generation of supercars- McLaren, Koenigsegg, Zonda Mercedes, Lamborghini, Ferrari, and Bugatti.

The Bugatti Veyron, for one, is just as quick accelerating and faster at the top-end, but would be left far behind on the track. Even knowing the outcome would still make for really exciting TV.
