How UPS Deliveries Actually Work

Leave no package behind.

I get that more with USPS than I do UPS. At least I can go to the post office and get my package though, good luck with UPS. Speaking of, had that happen when Microsoft sent back my Xbox 360 on a RROD warranty repair. I ended up driving an hour on a Saturday to get my package after they messed up delivery because of Microsoft messing up the return address. After finding the correct packaging facility, I was told that it was on a truck for delivery... on a Saturday. So after telling me to come get the package, they send it out for delivery...Well, I get home, and guess what, A FUCKING STICKER ON MY DOOR. Yep I was excited.

When I worked for the company that delivered packages for canada post in Kamloops BC, they literally told me just to leave it if no one was home, called a "safe drop" if you couldnt see the package from the road it was okay to leave it unless it stated otherwise. I didnt like doing it I thought it was retarded to do that. That was a horrible company, run by a bunch of east indian brothers or something, no background check, no drivers check, but I got to fiddle with your package.

I just have a large plastic garden hose box on which I wrote "packages, please" outside my front door. UPS delivers at 6 PM so it isn't an issue, and USPS/FedEx just put them in the box. They also leave a note on my door saying they delivered the package (FedEx, not USPS).
