Bruti79says...How it's made is *Canada made
siftbotsays...Invocations (canada) cannot be called by Bruti79 because Bruti79 is not privileged - sorry.
BoneRemakesays...is it now ? I did not know that. I know it airs on discovery, but so does mythbusters, and they are from californ Ey Eh.
Good to know.

ipfreelysays...I stopped watching this show because of the female voice-over. It's so irritating.
Bruti79says...Ha ha, no worries, I only knew it was Canadian, because the season 1 host was Mark Tewksburry <sp?> a former Canadian Olympic Swimmer, and when they made Canoes, it was done at a place I know in Muskoka =)
griefer_queafersays...Mmmmm -- I love me some mustard.

In the UK it's revoiced by Tony Hirst - I found this one irritating too!
Croccydilesays...They replaced this super annoying announcer in the newer ones, which have a slightly less bad one.
Yeah, I quit watching the ones with this announcer.
L0ckysays...Yup, watched about 4 seconds. Perhaps I'll never know how mustard is made.
I want to know who's responsible for this insincere-sincere way of speaking. I've heard British, US and Australian versions of it since the late 90's.
I'd dare to bet it originally started as a parody of some kind, but then became a case of life imitating comedy.
BoneRemakesays...wow.
I know There are all types, and it takes all types. But to make a matter out of a narrators voice ? I can understand if its Gilbert Godfry or Fran Drescher.
Shepppardsays...Actually, I used to hate the narrators voice too.
She seemed completely new to it, same with Mark whats-his-face. However, through the years she seems to have gotten much better.
jubuttibsays...This narrator wasn't so horrible, but I HATE the British narrator that does Mythbusters over here...
raviolisays...I might be able to shed some light on her voice, as I know she is a native French-speaking comedian. She worked very hard on her "clean" English accent, kudos to her. Only, I don't know what's the deal with the neutral tone. We need a How it's Made of this show...
