Just watched Kill List and had a very similar experience to this trailer. Good movie, but I think I missed at least 25% of the dialogue. I'm normally okay with accents, but when they get really heavy I start to struggle.

Yeah, I saw that one theatrically and was really wishing for some sweet sweet subtitle action.

I don't get this. The only limey bastards I ever have a modicum of difficulty understanding are the young ghetto punk ones (think Attack the Block).

I think most people here would know this, but Brad Pitt's character in Snatch was already a play on this. After hearing about the complaints over Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels, writer/director Guy Ritchie decided to make a character that even the film characters wouldn't understand.

It's not just the accents, but the different lingo or slang you may not be familiar with that can make what they're saying sound incomprehensible.

You mean somthing like Cockney Rhyming Slang?

"telephone" is replaced by "dog" (= 'dog-and-bone')
"wife" by "trouble" (= 'trouble-and-strife')
"eyes" by "minces" (= 'mince pies')
"wig" by "syrup" (= 'syrup of figs')
"feet" by "plates" (= 'plates of meat')

Resulting in...
"It nearly knocked me off me plates—he was wearing a syrup! So I got straight on the dog to me trouble and said I couldn't believe me minces."

Throw in a bit of an accent and there you have it, pure gibberish.
