Honest Government Ad | Julian Assange

slickheadsays...

Meh, this plays like propaganda. Makes sense since Wikileaks had become an agent of Russian propaganda. Assange got a lot more sympathy before he became Putin's BITCH (if indeed he ever wasn't). Let's Compare Putin's (and all Soviet/Russian) crimes against the countries criticized in this propaganda piece. It doesn't even get close. Get serious.

Jesus Hitler Christ! When did Juice become Russia's anti-western-countries bitch?

It the crime of helping his source break passwords on classified government computer systems, conspiracy to hack classified government computer systems, and likely theft of top secret classified information, that's not good journalism you dumb twat. If Manning had just come to him with classified info, that's journalism. When Assange helped him steal that info, he became an enemy of the United States and it's allies. If it could be proven he did it with or for an enemy nation, that's an act of war. I'm pretty sure sentencing guidelines could include death for that.

I guess The Juice Media needs to make a "if juice media clips were honest" clip. This one was a huge fail that seemed purely snarky and angry, not even funny, and certainly not honest.

1) If Ecuador is America's bitch, after giving Assange asylum for years then what of all the countries that refused to extend asylum?

2) Trump has shown he has no interest in bringing Assange to the U.S. It's a safe bet that pressure on the Equadorians to turn him over were at an all-time low. Turning him over now is, if anything, hurting the powers that be in America. How is that being America's bitch?

3) Assange isn't wanted on charges of journalism. You could make the argument that some/many of the charges against him are politically motivated, but if so that will play out in court. Americans may no longer have an unbiased judiciary, but if there's nothing there, it will be hard to come up with a conviction even with a friendly judge.

Everything in this video is just empty rhetoric. There are no facts, just arguments attempting to play on our emotions. If they had facts, they should have used them. That they resort to these disingenuous tactics shows they've got nothing.

Moving this video to Mordhaus's personal queue. It failed to receive enough votes to get sifted up to the front page within 2 days.
