Highly Biased Child Protective Services Interview

FROM YOUTUBE:

Published on Sep 3, 2013
In the middle of custody proceedings, CPS (Child Protective Services) upon an anonymous called-in complaint, swoops in and charges me with child neglect and inadequate guardianship.

This video was taken during an hour long interrogation of me, microanalysing my every otherwise perfectly normal interactions with my daughter, and somehow trying to spin it to make it look evil and incompetent. These were not helpful suggestions or counseling, but edicts imposed upon threat of, and in fact the eventual, removal of my daughter from my life, which they did 5 days after this video was taken.

Their charges consisted of my going to McDonalds with my daughter (5 times in three months), having chicken McNuggets, letting her have sugar-free soda and decaf coffee, weighing her on our bathroom scale, and responding to her alarming symptoms to an unknown medication by trying to look it up on the internet with her.

For this, they filed a petition in Family Court and took her away from me, slapped a restraining order on me to stay away from her, and effectively gave her mother custody without a custody trial. It should be noted that none of the things they charged me with constitute neglect, and are in fact normal parenting discretions and care that millions of parents do with their kids every day.

The fact that this specious court action against me was effected right in the middle of a custody dispute was no accident, and was timed to affirmatively interfere in that proceeding, so as to prejudice the proceedings against me, and give de facto custody to the mother.
It might be noted that this particular charge was eventually overturned, dismissed and sealed on administrative appeal, but only after months of my child being taken away from me during which time I was viewed by all I knew as a suspected child abuser. It might also be noted that it was the second of three cases CPS has, so far, launched against me, all either dismissed or found in my favor.

The gender discrimination was palpable in this CPS agency, who believed their goal was to ensure custody to mothers, and that men are incapable of taking care of their children.

They accomplish this by misusing their public trust, abusing the powers of the state, and officially pillorying fathers via frivolous charges, but charges that would nonetheless each time result in a restraining order keeping me away from my child, and lasting for months or years while they accomplished their real agenda in assisting mothers to win custody.

(It is evidenced even here, by their total dismissal and unconcern of several things the mother did, that easily raise to the level of neglect - abandoning our child and leaving her locked out of the apt., not informing me of serious psychiatric medications she is on while I had her on visits, and a month later again losing our kid in a department store. These were of no concern to CPS, but our McDonalds visits or soda drinking was. Their gender prejudice is so embedded, they don't even see it.)

A Voice for Men?

Fuck this shit, start a fight club you pussy pieces of shit, scared of women having any sort of power losers. I'm tired of getting lectured that my life is being controlled by women and they're destroying it. They're people, of course they're destroying it, it has nothing to do with the fact that they're women.

These sexist fucks should be ignored, get a fucking lawyer and fight whatever you think is going on that's wrong. I can pretty much guarantee that he's full of shit though. It's like White Supremacists saying they just want to defend White Mens rights.

CaptainPlanetsays...

Did you even watch the video?

Oh wait, nevermind. I'm sure you didn't, because if you had watched it, you would have had to question your delusions regarding the status quo.

See, what we see in this video is a woman who is abusing her power, and the man with the camera, to a ridiculous degree. She literally starts off extremely aggressive and completely unwilling to listen to what the guy is saying, and you STILL feel the need to ask for "the other side."

But it's all in the video. You just don't want to see it.

For what it's worth, the fantasy world you feminists are living in seems just awful. I can't understand why you all put so much effort into staying there.

@Yogi
im gonna go out on a limb and guess you never dealt with the courts and CPS.

i have and this mans experience resembles my own.
i realize this is not conclusive proof of anything.my evidence would be anecdotal.

i had children with two women,
feel free to judge me,i dont care, the courts and CPS judged me plenty so i am used to it.

my two oldest boys were with a woman who i remained friendly with which translated to a fantastic relationship with my boys.i never experienced the courts nor CPS in any negative fashion.

conversely my two youngest boys were with a sociopath (no hyperbole here)
.we have no relationship.in fact we are totally enstranged.
tragic in all regards.

she used the courts to punish me.
she used CPS to harrass me.

and the attitudes of CPS were so much like this purple chick.
that somehow THEY knew better and they NEVER questioned the mother.
in fact one CPS "counselor" went as far as trying to force me to relinquish my parental rights.

when you get caught in this system you realize a few things very quickly.
1.fathers are the enemy
2.they know better than you
3.you know nothing
4.if the mother makes an allegation then it MUST be true
5.if YOU make an allegation you are just being contrary and bitter

the one CPS counselor was terminated due to falsifying records.
no shock here.

i have sat through interviews almost identical as what this man is experiencing.
the difference is i am a much more adept debater than this poor dad is.

i do not suffer fools lightly and when in regards to my children i am unrelenting.
i also realized fairly early that the CPS workers never had my nor my boys best interests at heart.
they spoke in legalese and authority but it was evident it was all about control.
to control me and dictate how i was as a parent.

ah...i remember those schoolings with fondness.a certain satisfaction in putting an arrogant,self-important knowitall in their place.

but in the end i still didnt get to see my kids.
so who is the loser eh?

goddammit.now im depressed......

I assume you've heard of "Editing" right? This is what happens with sources that have an agenda, which this one comes from. It's edited to show the worst and to absolve the person who's making the case.

The fantasy world feminists are living in? I don't know where that comes from but I live in a world where most (90%) of violence against women is committed by men. Women aren't paid the same for the same jobs. We've never had a woman president. Ya know things like that, stuff that might seem pretty fucked up.

Here's a story for you, I was raised by my father, and he was a nice guy. Where was my mother you ask? Oh she was murdered when I was 2 by a guy who saw her, and decided he wanted her, and killed her.

enoch I'm not going to go into your personal story, because that's what it is yours and everything I saw is wrong because I don't know jack about it.

I do know that the idea that women can just claim things and your children will be taken away from you is now bullshit. If you get a lawyer and fight the courts DO want you to have joint custody. You have a very high burden of proof to contest custody. That's just a fact of the Law these days and I think it's a good change.

This edited video, which consider the source of where it came from, and your personal story does not close the book that all women who work in government are man hating pieces of shit.

@Yogi
totally agree.
i was not trying to make the argument that women are to blame.
what i was trying,and failing i guess?
is to express that this mans experience is not as isolated as you may think.

has nothing to do with sexism nor man vs woman.
if i implied that i sincerely apologize.

my argument is that ignorance coupled with power and authority will end badly and when we are dealing with families and children...well..its a sucky experience.

Yogisays...

Now that is something I think everyone can relate to. Also being on the other side at times, it's really tiring trying to deal with the horrible public, present company excluded, all the time.

If you had watched the video, you would know that it had clearly not been edited.

But again, you didn't, so you don't.

Anyway, here we go.

First of all, all that wage gap bullshit? Yeah, read this: http://www.consad.com/content/reports/Gender%20Wage%20Gap%20Final%20Report.pdf

Oh, and that violence-against-women bullshit? I'm going to need a citation on that.

Also, I'm sorry about your mother, but one anecdote does not mean that feminism suddenly makes sense. I've been physically and mentally abused by more female teachers than I can count on one hand, but I'm not going to use that to claim that women are somehow evil.

@CaptainPlanet
thats not a fair assertion.

@Yogi is opinionated and passionate,as am i.
so if i took your comment at face value,i would have to include myself.

and i dont think i am unreasonable.
i can be passionately opinionated.
my comments can be aggressive, confrontational and bombastic but i tend to not direct them at specific people..unless they direct a personal attack on me.

i have had many discussions with yogi and all of them have been reasonable.
i find him/her to be extremely intelligent, witty and funny.

do i agree with yogi all the time?
oh hell no but if you are going to argue or debate with yogi you better bring your A-game or he/she will make you pay for not doing your homework.

and isnt that how it should be?
i will never understand or subscribe to the notion that somehow if we dont challenge a persons assertions, arguments or opinions that somehow we are disrespecting that person..personally.

i mean,think about it.
if i put forth an opinion or argument that is using flawed or incomplete information, why would you allow that opinion to stand?
to not hurt my feelings?
would you let me walk through the food court with my wanker hanging out?
or let me flirt with a girl with a huge booger hanging out?

i may get embarrassed.
may feel a tad foolish..but in the end i am better for it.way better.

to shy away from causing someone embarrassment has more dire consequences than calling them out and exposing the flaw in their argument.

you do that person a disservice and it reduces the conversation to vapid platitudes.nobody wins..everybody loses.

and really.yogi is a blast to argue with.
just sayin....

Procrastinatronsays...

All right, so I just went back and read my earlier reply to this, and I think it got a bit too harsh at one point (it was very late, and I was very tired). Sorry about that.

And I'm really sorry about your mom. Seriously. It fucking sucks in so many ways, and nobody should have to go through what you, your mom, and probably many others around you went through due to one horrible sack of shit.

However, it's still only anecdotal. Just like you claimed that the issue shown in this video might individual rather than systemic, and that women as a whole shouldn't be blamed for the actions of one woman.

But that's exactly the kind of judgment you are passing on men.

I mean, conversely, I have my own shitty-ass stories of abuse ...except the villains in all of my stories just happened to be women (no male teacher ever abused me in any way). But I don't necessarily hold that against women as a gender. Sure, I think it might've been exacerbated by the fact that the school system is heavily dominated by women who, when they are pushed into a corner by the incredibly bad system they're stuck with, just have a harder time understanding and relating to young boys than they do young girls. But I don't go on masculinist rants claiming that I was somehow systematically oppressed by women as a group, because that is just crazy-talk (and no, I am not a masculinist, or even MRA (partisanship is for fucking CHUMPS, and I am no chump)).

However, the fact remains that you've brought nothing to this conversations except belligerently stated opinions which you refuse to back up when asked to do so. That's not fair to the people who are talking to you, and it certainly isn't fair to you yourself who is made to look like an idiot because hey; stupid is as stupid does.

If you engage me in a conversation and are able to back your shit up, I will gladly give you the time of day. I may not agree with you - in fact, it's possible that my disagreement will be downright vehement - but I'm going to review your statements and your sources seriously and respond to them (somewhat) seriously.

Unless they are TOO stupid, in which case it is possible that I will point at you and laugh.

If I think your arguments are sound, and believe me when I say that I am fair in this because I push myself hard to stay rational, I will actually tell you that your arguments are sound. And if you actually manage to prove me wrong, I will literally tell you that you proved me wrong. It has been known to happen (exceedingly rarely), and I always manage to stay upfront and honest because the only thing that really matters to me is the truth.

So please don't fucking bail on an argument like that again, because it drives me up the fucking walls.

wow missed the fun...I haven't watched the vid yet just read comments.

So at work today one woman told me about her husbands experience with the courts.

He had another child before meeting my co-worker. That mother (when they broke up after two months (they think she was trying to get preggers) said he couldn't see his kid.

well like I woulda done he took it to court. Apperently his laywer said straight up "you have no rights".

Judge agreed. Not only is he not allowed to see his kid but the step dad legally adopted the kid, not sure if the kid even knows.

anyway that quote from the laywer is how I related to all the comments.

watching vid now....EDIT only made 7:30ish can't do it. The mom doesn't have to tell the dad (who has her sundays) what meds shes on? That woman is not acting proffessionally, I don't care if everything she says is true there are ways to act in those settings.Gona read those links now.

ChaosEnginesays...

The video is pretty damning. The officials involved come off as uninformed and overly hostile while the father seems rational and caring.

But I'm with Yogi. I'd still like to hear the other side.

Yogisaid:

Ok, this is one side. Can we hear the other side?

draak13says...

It would be important to know the other side.

That said, without knowing the other side, it gets pretty outrageous within the first 4 minutes. Regardless of what the other side is, it's obvious that the administration being consulted is highly prejudice. They are not acting as an impartial party. It is obvious that they are inventing reasons to find fault.
