A "Gyro Ball" is supposedly a new pitching style that gyrates the baseball while thrown. There is debate over whether this is a "new" type of pitch or not. It was reportedly used by Daisuke at the 2006 World Baseball Classic.

deathcowsays...Yes Farmerbuzz, this looks totally normal to me. The random looking direction of the ball stitching is more from framerate than anything I would guess. No dead bird, no vote
