1. His accent
2. Merde in italian is the plural of merda (shit in singular)

This is apparently an r9800 liebherr excavator. This boasts a whopping 42m³ bucket capacity (http://www.liebherr.com/me/en/products_mc.asp?menuID=106220!11929-0) ie. if it was full it would have 42tonnes of weight as a cubic metre of water weighs a tonne. So there is say more than 35tonnes of water "washing" that car. Anyone want a shower?

Tonne = metric ton = 1000 kg

US ton = 2000 lbs = 908 kg

So... 40 tonne is about 10% heavier than 40 ton.
