Hail storm VS cars

Actually windows aren't the problem - easy to fix, though it'll cost unless you have a good insurance. My car and house were hit by nice golfball sized hails a few years back. My car was on the driveway - front window ONLY cracked, but the front of the car and left side looked like a golf ball.. full of dimples! Insurance covered it, but it took about 2 months for the to get it fixed: new roof, new hood, dent whatevermagic, new paint. Sigh. Two sides of the house looked like swiss cheese too. Roofing companies in the area were having a ball!

A hailstorm in Calgary 3 or so weeks ago during the Calgary Stampede did something similar.
Anything dentable or breakable left outside during one of these storms is done for. It's ridiculous.
Afaik, most if not all car repair shops in Calgary are still booked solid and will be for weeks because of the storm.
