11520says...The narrator needs to study history a bit more closely. Although Justinian was Roman, more or less, the Eastern Empire, but the time of Justinian, was effectively Greek. Greek surpassed Latin as the language of the empire (Note that all the mosaics and icons in the church are in Greek. The architects who designed the church were Greek, (Actually they were professors of physics, mathematics and architecture in a Greek language higher school). Agia Sophia, the Great Church of Christ was, as the language of the name indicates, Greek.
