Upvote b/c although I considered the movie silly, it's like a depiction of a primitive videosift of sorts.

Hackers is a well good film lol totaly daft! but still a good film i love cheesy hacking films other good films to see if you are into hacking and unreolistick hacking stuff

Oh oops, forgot the trivial "in my day" comment!

In my day, after watching the movie, I went out and got the soundtrack, the Hackers 2 CD, and later the Hackers 3 CD which I think I tossed. Anyway the Hackers and Hackers 2 discs became the beginning of my downward spiral into Techno hell. I remember listening to the #2 CD over and over again during a snowboarding trip to Tahoe/Donner. Great stuff!
