shuacsays...Does this qualify for a horrorshow channel? Ay caramba!
lucky760says...Yikes. That looks like a Brown Recluse spider, one of the most poisonous and deadly.
charliemsays...That, looks NOTHING like a brown recluse.
If I didnt hear the US accent, Id bet money that its a huntsmen....they are our "normal" sized spiders in aus.
Totally harmless.
Edit: upon further research (wiki...lol), huntsmen spiders can also be found in florida and hawaii.

um, actually lucky, we have brown recluses around here. They are small, and are always hiding in small places.

I'm no expert, but that guy in her shower looks like a tarantula of some sort...way too big & hairy for a recluse. Also, recluses aren't necessarily deadly, but they will cause the tissue around the bite to become necrotic if not treated.
Also, nothing phases ya after you've been exposed to one of these guys (Goliath bird-eating tarantulas!).
Sketchsays...Good detective work, people, since she SAYS IN THE VIDEO that it's a huntsmen.
lucky760says...So, to reiterate, that is absolutely not a Brown Recluse spider, one of the most poisonous and deadly.
BillOreillysays...that woman needs to clean more
rottenseedsays..."honey the spider isn't washing down the drain...in fact he took the shower head from me and is spraying me back"
budzossays...Presence of big spiders usually means you've got some insect colonies in the house somewhere.
garmachisays...It's beautiful!
dagsays...Comment hidden because you are ignoring dag.(show it anyway)
May have an American accent, but I think this is Australia - the toilet and shower head look like Aussie models.
I have it on good authority that it is possible to have an American accent in Australia.
Edit: yep, just confirmed it- the OP is in Australia.
atarasays...Oh my god! I'm gonna have nightmares! O.o

volumptuoussays...I had one almost that size in my flat in Berlin. You don't need insect colonies to attract em tho. Sometimes, as in my case, a simple gardening construction next door will cause these things to find safer residence.
an aside: Also Beware of HEADPHONE SPIDERS!!! Just this morning I put on some headphones I hadn't worn in months, felt something crawling on my ear, ripped em off and found a spider inside! yeeeargh!

That is a Sparassid and its true that it really looks nothing like a brown recluse, not that identifying a brown recluse is easy. Identifying a spider to species is usually very difficult unless you're a trained arachnologist!
maatcsays...Huntsmen spiders are good for keeping the mozzies away. And helicopters...
