Gun Control Idiot Test?

... or idiot gun owner? A or B??

The bias situation he presents is stacked in favor of the gun as it only has 2 options.

There's also a house alarm option as Sagemind pointed out, a blade and/or blade defense option(s) which can still be effective if he puts in as much training into using or disarming blades as he claims to have for guns, and those hypothetical criminals don't have guns which would be more likely if there were no gun control in affect, so why does he get one in this scenario?

But the thing that really gets me about the resistance of the gun control subject, is it depends on how it's done. Gun 'control' doesn't by default necessarily mean gun 'absence', and I'm not saying that the US couldn't go in that direction, just that the main focus area is regulating who can have what and why.

The gun control position doesn't claim that an individual finding themselves in a contrived horror scenario wouldn't be better off armed. It claims that in a society where any individual can easily get armed to prepare for ludicrous scenarios such as the one outlined in the video, the same individual is more likely to encounter violence than in a society where access to weapons is restricted.
