Group B Monsters Tribute with Pure Engine Sounds

In 1982, the FIA introduced a set of regulations for rally racing categorized as "Group B". These cars were not bound by the limits on boost, power, weight, and mass-market production faced by other categories such as "Group A", and as a result attained legendary status in the rally racing community for their incredible performance.
In fact, it because apparent after only a few short years that they had fostered the creation of racing monsters - vehicles whose capabilities strained or exceeded the limits of even the most seasoned drivers. The overwhelming power of these beastly machines and the notorious difficulty of rally courses combined with a lax attitude toward crowd control to set the stage for inevitable disaster.
A series of deaths, of drivers and spectators alike, led to the shuttering of Group B at the end of the 1986 racing season.
This video pays tribute to these terrible beasts as they were intended to be experienced - without the pretense of a musical accompaniment - just the pure, unadulterated fury of their fire-breathing engines.
