Google demonstrates GLASS. $1500 and shipping next year

This is demoing the totally wrong side of Glass, as far as I'm concerned. I have little to no interest in the camera functionality. Small video cameras are ancient tech. Small wireless-networked cameras are newer, but still passe.

I want to see the actual display capabilities. That's the only part that matters to me.

It's $1500 I believe for the early Developer kits actually. If it's somewhere around $600-$800 I can see myself buying this, if only because I ride a motorcycle and it would be super cool to be able to get all my maps and control music and do whatever with them.
