choggiesays...Glock makes available to Govt. and other, full-auto capability for all calibers and styles.
Farhad2000says...I love this weapon, easy to use, very reliable, only thing I hate is the high possibility of gun snag with your hand's skin.
NickyPsays...What's the obsession with guns. Is it a power thing? Hand guns like this were made illigal in the uk ten years ago because some crazy guy shot a load of kids in scotland. How many shooting have there been in u.s. schools, would they ever be banned?
Fionsays...Guns are a guy thing. Because of the hunter that is still in all of us.
As to guns getting banned in america, it'll never happen. One of our fundamental rights is the right to own fire arms. Yea it's a little backwards and definately causes more harm then good but that doesn't change anything.
So yea, we are one of the last civilized countries left in the world where owning guns is a fundamental right, the death penalty is still practiced in most states and we are perhaps the most concervative nation in the western world (even our liberals are nothing near as liberal as those in europe lol.) But you know what? It's Europes falt in the first place. You just HAD to oppress the hardcore fundamental christians Puritans and let them flee to american and start the whole thing didn't you
I of course speak in jest but a lot of what make some (especially southern born) americans gun-toting, death-penalty loving, hard-core conservative, bible-thumping men and women can definately be linked to the original Puritan movements of the 18th century.
NickyPsays...I'm not sure if the constitution is a bit miss leading (don't hold me on this, I haven't studied it). This thing about the second amendment is about in times of trouble or threat. This is from wikipedia
'The Second Amendment, as passed by the House and Senate and later ratified by the States, reads:
Second Amendment to the United States Constitution
A well regulated militia being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed.
Second Amendment to the United States Constitution
The hand-written copy of the Bill of Rights which hangs in the National Archives had slightly different capitalization and punctuation inserted by William Lambert, the scribe who prepared it. This copy reads:
Second Amendment to the United States Constitution
A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.
Second Amendment to the United States Constitution
Both versions are commonly used by "official" Government publications'.
NickyPsays...Just thought I'd make clear, I'm not attacting the american constitution here, just wondering what americans think of the whole gun thing
jimnmssays...The reason behind citizens having the right to own guns falls back to the whole idea of checks and balances within the govt. If the govt. becomes corrupt, it's falls to the responsibility of the citizens to regain control. When the govt. starts trying to take away that right, trouble is just around the corner.
