Gaming in the 4th Dimension

Miegakure is a platform game where you explore the fourth dimension to solve puzzles.

There is no trick; the game is entirely designed and programmed in 4D. Because humans can only see and move along three spatial dimensions, pressing a button allows to "swap" one regular dimension with the fourth, invisible dimension. The protagonist can use this ability to see inside closed objects, walk through walls, move objects from one dimension to another, hide under 3D shadows of 4D objects, and more.

The game is currently in development and the goal is to release it in downloadable form for consoles and PC/Mac. There is no announced date and platform yet. There is no publicly released demo at this point. There will be one when the game is released though, so please be patient Thanks.

Maybe it's just me but I'm pretty sure the fourth dimension is time.

I don't see no 4th dimension. Only some minecraft style rubbish.

Hahaha. A shape that projected that ring in 3 dimensions wouldn't look like the same ring in the fourth dimensions...

Just ask the tesseract...

Errr, yeah... that video did nothing to help me understand how it's supposed to work.

It's not four dimensional. It's some artist's rendition of what HE thinks the fourth dimension might look like if human minds could actually understand it in a visual way.

I think this is just a nifty game that uses another dimension to create solutions to problems. It does look fun...
