Video Flagged Dead

Full: "In the Bathtub of the World" (Classic Personal Docu.)

One of the great American autobiographical documentaries, "In the Bathtub of the World" is the product of filmmaker Caveh Zahedi's ("I Am A Sex Addict") commitment to film for a minute a day for one year. THe result is often funny, touching, boring, pretentious, slow, enlivening, but above all intensely personal. The sequence where Caveh and Amy trip on mushrooms is particularly sweet and funny.

I reallly love this little film. And it is quite hard to find, so who knows--it may stay up on youtube for a little while. This is a rare opportunity to see one of the early films that defined a movement in American independent cinema.
