8362says...hmm...self-voting defintly feels like masturbation.
rembarsays......says the sifter who posted a vid of such maneuvers as the "prod" and the "side-on slap".
I like the description, btw.
wazantsays...As an old ultimate player, I gotta upvote everything Frisbee--spirit of the game, after all...
And, yeah, voting your own posts always feels like laughing at your own jokes, but I do it every time anyway. It is allowed, and lots of people do it, so it basically just levels the playing field.
reedsays...I don't get the Glaxo Smith Kline reference? Anyone know what that's all about?
MarineGunrocksays...GSK is a major pharmaceutical company. What it has to do with this, I don't know.
Doc_Msays...If I had an applaud point, you'd get it rembar. ROFL.
Anyway. Neato Frisbee fun (lol, my spell-checker says you have to capitalize Frisbee, someone explain this to me). Though I have to say this would be entirely cooler with a steel ring. They spin and hold a spin a TON better than a Frisbee does, hence the success of the Aerobie. And yeeahhh, the GSK reference... Not getting it. Maybe the Frisbee was a GSK give-away or something.
ridesallyridencsays...Gunny: I don't know, I think that this video has a pretty clear link to pharmaceuticals...
Doc: Frisbee is a brand name (the generic is "flying disk"). It's one of those interesting cases where the brad name is used to describe the product, like Band-Aid (brand bandages), and the trademark holder is about to loose their name to the public domain.
jimnmssays...They'd probably get better spin time if they lubed the table with some cooking oil or grease instead of using flower.
southblvdsays...Where's the beer? I don't see any in the video.
They didn't use flour, they used dish soap and water.
