And if I may play Devil's advocate for a moment...

The counter argument to the hypocrisy charge is that you can be a Muslim terrorist because the Qur'an is laced with calls to violence whereas the New Testament preaches loving thy enemy and such.

So does that mean we can ignore the Old Testament? I mean completely? Or can we still cherry pick what we want out of it?
