Fox Attacks: Bloggers

Brand new entry in the "Fox Attacks" series; smearing Fox News Channel by showing actual clips from their shows. ;)

I upvoted because I have as much respect for Foxnews, CNN, MSNBC, Headline News, The New York Times, New York Post, Washington Post, Associated Press, Al Jazeera, Reuters, etc. as I do for bloggers, lots of sh!t and little truth. Oh my, they attacked bloggers, and bloggers would never attack news stations of any kind, NO! They attack bloggers and bloggers attack news stations, of course they don't like each other! (Please feel free to add to the list of news stations, networks, bloggers, foroums, and other such news hubs, I'd like to know what you do or don't trust.) Oh I trust almost every government in the world except for North Korea and The Church of Scientology because they would never tell us anything untrue . Corporations, Organizations, Non-Profit Organizations, that go after the governments and corporations. You get the point.

Everyone has an agenda, everyone.

Oh yeah everything Foxnews said was true and false. Just as everything bloggers say is true and false.

I don't "trust" anyone. The way I look at it fall in love with an institution and you're just asking to be used. The way things work these days it's all branding and marketing, once they get you to follow and defend the "brand" they can take you almost anywhere they want to take you including places we'd never even consider going ourselves. As was said above, everyone has an agenda. Look anywhere we can for more info and the other side of the issues, then verify them all.

If recent US politics has taught us anything it should have been that. Stop thinking in terms of left/right, liberal/conservative, and start looking for what the truth really is and what the results seem to show. We've been used, mislead or abandoned by both in turn over the decades and our love of and dependence on ideology over results and facts in itself is the problem. If we started to hold them all accountable to the same standards and demanded it, then we might get somewhere. No favorites.

I do have a least favorite though, FOX. As bad as the rest are they are basic market whores, just chasing the ratings or favors from people in power. FOX is openly partisan and the one place we're sure to see only one side, any glimpse of the other will be distorted. You aren't likely to get real reporting from anywhere else either, but you might get glimpses of things that let you know there's something more to look for at least.

Up-vote because I agree 100% with FOX! lol

No where but the internet do you see what sort of vitriol-slinging people are capable of. And 90% of what you see on blogs and internet sites is ludicrously liberal. Heck, even here at the sift the populous is about 80% liberal and probably equally as anti-religion at least from what I've seen. Odd. Just look at the number of vocal believers in 911 conspiracy BS. I'd like to see a poll on this site. That'd be cool.

However, if you were to find a radically right-wing blog, you'd probably see similar hate. There are simply no prominent, popular, or powerful right-wing blogs. And to add, O'Reilly has pointed out radical right-wingers; he even calls the militant. There are just more wacky lefties on the internet than wacky righties.

Lol, prove to me all those organizations don't suck theo. I just thought it was funny because I find foxnews attack on the bloggers perfectly legitimate just the bloggers attack on foxnews is perfectly legitimate. They both broadcast their problems with each other or their allies through their various forms of broadcast sources, internet, tv, radio, etc.

Trust isn't given its earned and everyone on that list has really let me down theo, hence they all suck. My examples why just some of them, the U.S. government on why we were and are in Iraq, the media not properly telling what is going on because they waited a long time to tell how bad the civil war in Iraq was, and bloggers are just not that reliable I'm sorry just seen too much inaccurate information. I'm sorry citing wikipedia is just not a good source for information not to mention how many articles in wikipedia are in dispute about the truthfulness of the info, mainly controversial subjects. I don't think the internet is open as we all liked to believe, I think there isn't such a great exchange of information as there is prejudice and preconceived notions that are further reinforced talking to groups of people that you already agree with, biggest example blogs.

I would like to see more cooperative dialogue than is out there. I know my ability to have an open dialogue with someone isn't as great as I'd like it to be either.

Oh theo its not attacking bloggers, its attacking the left wing bloggers, they love the right wing bloggers as we all know. Which would make your title to this video misleading and false information just like foxnews and the guys that made this clip. Shouldn't it read "Fox Attacks: Liberal Bloggers" or better yet "Fox Attacks: Bloggers that don't agree with them"?
