Your the last person I would be taking channel suggestions from ant. This doesn't have anything to do with music, its a man standing in front of an audience kicking out a participant. NOTHING to do with Music or livemusic. Where is the music ? I hear nothing ? it starts with "fuck" and then a tirade about how to act at his gathering.

What the shit?! This is something that happens at a concert, at a venue where live music is actively being performed, by a live musician, where thousands of people are gathered to experience the live music, where an asshole who had been previously listening to live music is being called out for being an asshole, and then the musician and the entire crowd of thousands go back to making and experiencing live music the moment after the video ends.

So yes, definitely there's nothing about live music in this clip. In my experience with Boneremake he is an entirely level-headed and reasonable individual and I can see that clearly in his choice and subsequent reasoning given.

As the keeper of the livemusic channel, my opinion is this: this video is livemusic related. The livemusic channel is not overrun with this type of stuff, so no big deal. Like when Britney Spears said on stage "My pussy is hanging out!" That is livemusic also. Livemusic is also OK for canned recordings when the artists are seen playing instruments or singing. (Like, Milli Vanilli or acts from the "Michael Douglas show".) So it is sort of a bit like putting horses in the catsAndDogs channel.

Wouldn't that include music videos then? At some point I would start to wonder what the purpose of a livemusic channel is if it includes recorded music. Isn't that what #music is for?

It's your channel, of course, and you can define it how you want, but I know I wouldn't browse the livemusic channel to see videos of musicians yelling at people; I'd want to see some live fucking music.

@xxover: No, that's not what he means. He's talking about when an artist is actually on-stage performing in front of an audience and happens to be lip-syncing to a backing track. A la when Brittney Spears was on stage and said "My pussy is hanging out!" You can clearly see that she was saying that phrase to a pre-recorded audio sample. I can tell because of her lips and the audio samples. I've heard some 'protoolses in my time.

Yeah, not sure if you were going for the irony factor here or what....

If by, "irony factor," you mean I was joking - yes I was joking. The joke is that the things I typed are similar to the things Dave Grohl said. The "sarcasm" check box had either not yet been implemented or had not yet caught my eye at the time of the original posting or surely I would have checked it and could have cleared up this confusion. BoneRemake got the joke btw, though I'm sure he appreciates you defending him.
