Fallout New Vegas: Wild Wild Wasteland

Obsidian, famed for their buggy releases are true to form with New Vegas. This a compilation of many of the weirder things in the game, edited for maximum hilarity. will appear unappealing to the pretentious and pseudo-intellectual.
I laughed uncontrollably almost the whole way through.

My ability to continue being a grad student has been called into question by this messy, hilarious, brilliantly-written, buggy as all hell, totally unpredictable, and devastatingly gorgeous masterpiece of a game.

Someone owes me 14 minutes and 20 seconds of my life back.

I'm guessing that someone is you, considering you could have stopped watching any time you wanted.

Which 1 second did you enjoy by the way?

Err... a lot of these are just random, but 100% right (meaning, 0 bugs) questline things.

I won't spoil a lot, but the guy right at the beginning that was all "YEAHH! I WON THE LOTTERY!" won it more in a.. well, reverse "The Lottery" kind of way. That's all working as intended.

Yeah I encountered a bit of weirdness when both myself and an underling were looking at the body of the boss who apparently just blew his own head off and when I talk to the underling he tells me to direct any questions to the boss, the guy who just killed himself.

The game is absolutely bug ridden. As an Nvidia user I wasn't able to play the game 'at all' on the first day until I found work-arounds for all the issues I was having.

But besides that the game beats the pants off Fallout 3 in every way.

So much closer to FO1/2 that it isn't even funny. I have to agree with Shepppard, most of this stuff isn't bugs but right out of the game. Which makes it even funnier.

Bethesda is the company infamous for horribly buggy games.

I guess maybe Obsidian is too, but I've never heard anything like that about them.

Watch this space for the inevitable Unofficial Fallout New Vegas Patch. Even as Bethesda releases official patches, there's a lot of things they just won't bother to fix. It's why I never buy Bethesda games at full price.

Since the majority of the bugs are related to the game engine I suppose so. However if you've never heard of Obsidian in any form, you should know that majority at Obsidian = Black Isle. If you don't have any clue who Black Isle is you should try Wikipedia or something.

No, I know who Obsidian/Black Isle are... I'm just not aware of them having a reputation for half-assedness. The bugs in New Vegas are exactly the same kinda shit you find in Fallout 3, Oblivion and Morrowind so I feel safe in assuming Bethesda is at work.
