MarineGunrocksays...Good stuff. I've been meaning to get to this one.
9243says...This is a brilliant movie and should be required viewing for anybody who spends money.
9058says...How did the details of this private island meeting get discovered? What proof is there that they were told not to use there last names and so on? Well whatever the evidence this is still a very interesting doc that everyone should watch.
snoozedoctorsays...If there are history buffs out there, I would recommend reading "The Rise of Theodore Roosevelt", and "Theodore Rex", especially the chapters dealing with his personal fight against Wall Street corporate monopoly. His negotiations with J.P. Morgan, and cohorts, were also very secretive, so as to avoid any suggestion of collusion. The participants typically arrived under cover of darkness and exited via back doors.
His story is still the most courageous I've read on the part of an individual politician, to advance the public interest. The first book is especially good.
