Electromagnetic Pulse Attack Threat Raised in US Congress!

First it was uranium enrichment, now it's ICBMs launched from a barge and EMP weapons. What bullshit excuse will they find next to justify another war?

Not surprising really. As people get older, they fear the new and unknown more. Listening to his talk, it shows how little he actually understands EMPs ("like a lighting strike, only different").

What strikes me as odd though is that nuclear space- and airbursts have been known to produce EMPs for decades, and they have been part of the strategies of both NATO and the Warsaw Pact. Why suddenly raise a ruckus over something that's been known for what, about half a century?

Let's have a war
So you can go and die!
Let's have a war!
We could all use the money!
Let's have a war!
We need the space!
Let's have a war!
Clean out this place!

It already started in the city!
Suburbia will be just as easy!

[Chorus]

Let's have a war!
Jack up the Dow Jones!
Let's have a war!
It can start in New Jersey!
Let's have a war!
Blame it on the middle-class!
Let's have a war!
We're like rats in a cage!

It already started in the city!
Suburbia will be just as easy!

[Chorus]

Let's have a war!
Sell the rights to the networks!
Let's have a war!
Let our wallets get fat like last time!
Let's have a war!
Give guns to the queers!
Let's have a war!
The enemy's within!

It already started in the city!
Suburbia will be just as easy!

[Chorus x2]

Fear is the mind killer, remember??

Assholes gave other assholes who don't know they are fucked, missiles, the technology, and a reason to use them, i.e. "Ok motherfuckers, do as we say now."

Hackmeahandjob is a useful idiot, who was placed in a position of influence, because he is a mini-nazi fuck, and easily led to the ends of the assholes who want the world. The plan has always been world domination. By any means necessary.

Sounds like paranoia resulting from the desperation of a Plutocratic government watching its economic prowess wane. It responds in the only way it can. With the very weapons they spent trillions and trillions on, resulting in the very economic condition they currently suffer from.

The US government is in denial. If it doesn't STOP it's militaristic domineering and invests in it's people, education, and a truly free and open economy rather than militarizing itself beyond the ridiculous point it has reached, then it is surely digging a hole towards it's own self induced demise.

The threat to the US is NOT other nations. The US government is the largest threat to itself.

amazing! a nuclear blast 100 MILES up will produce an "EMP" which "shuts down the US economy"... you know what they should do? Go back to the technology used in 1950's cameras which seemed to work fine for filming above ground nuclear blasts from a distance of 15 miles

bigbikemansays...

As if you'd need an electromagnetic pulse to hurt the US economy! The crooks running the show are doing a marvelous job of that already; no need for a fantastic doomsday scenario.

Plus, one breath from China and it's all over anyway, assuming the trade deficit, the national debt, a slowing GDP growth rate, the weak dollar, the sudden rise in the cost of oil, the housing slowdown or the cash strapped/overdrawn masses don't take it down first.

Who is this idiot?

A FREIGHTER OFF THE EAST COAST?

This guy has to be fucking kidding me, they cant get passed the blockade we have on them. Just because they didn't pass the resolution doesn't mean that they aren't taking covert action against the state of Iran.
