Barsepssays...Heh heh heh......... ^Upvoted^
articiansays...Whew, man, had me cringing right up until the event itself. So much power and motion going on, they're all lucky that ended as peacefully as it did.
Chaucersays...i dont believe insurance is going to cover that.
grintersays...Looks like the left rear suspension or axle went 'bye bye' as well.
charliemsays...Most likely the lower control arm. Axles are a bit stronger than the control arms...
chingalerasays...Underwriter's Laboratories couldn't have achieved better results-
schlubsays...Aww, it damaged his douchebag-mobile...
lucky760says...Yes, credit to the camera man to keep it pointed at the action as he ran away.
As the driver looked over the door, I totally heard Urkle's voice in my head say "Did I do thaaaat?"
mxxconsays...I wonder who will pay for the damages..car owner for pushing it too much or dyno owner for not having strong enough equipment/allowing is to go this far and damaging the car...
Paybacksays...This is what happens when you use equipment meant for ricers on a car with actual power...
Paybacksays...Mustangs have live axles. The right wheel is on the ground, the left is still on top of the dyno. The rear roller of the dyno --what the right wheel WAS sitting on, and the left wheel sorta still is-- is sticking straight out the back.
Destroyed dyno, probably not much damage to the Mustang.
Upvote for the rear roller still spinning 30 seconds after meltdown...
