ockhamistsays...I wish secondary science education helped us imagine more. High School science was awful, but clips like this help us imagine the future and how studying the natural sciences will get us there. Geekiness aside, this clip gives us hope.

slybrisays...In all geekiness, I think Star Trek is far more advanced than Star Wars, tech wise. Teleporters, holodecks, humanlike androids. I mean, in Star Wars they didn't even have decent holograms, just fuzzy blue ones. I guess they were trying to sell Star Wars DVDs here though.
