Ever wondered what the Scroll Lock key is for?

I must be old as I know what it was for.

@spawnflagger reminded me KVMs often times use scroll lock to bring up the menu

Having to wait for light to return from a distant galaxy explains a lot about my current keyboard.

My laptop doesn't have a scroll lock key, but it does have a sysrq key and I have no idea what that does .

I use scroll lock as my Steam overlay key.
