Farhad2000says...I saw Surf Up's in a DLP theatre here in Montreal. While the movie was standard Disney/Pixar fare the clarity of the picture and sound was just astounding to say the least. I don't think I want to watch movies anyway else but on DLP now.
Purists as always gawked about how 'clinical' and 'cold' the image is and that 35mm will never be replaced, am sorry but fuzziness and long reels don't translate into 'warm' cinema or anything like that.
But then again it's the same thing they said about analog photography and look where we are now.
tbone8tysays...is there something being watercooled at 1:26? cool
CrushBugsays...OK, great video content, but what total crap narration and interview question voice. Put some passion into your work!
deathcowsays...These narrators speak in the courier font.
deathcowsays...must be a blown bulb they show, I dont think they would handle a new bulb with bare hands
antsays...DLP rules. I try to go DLP if I can. I wished local theaters would go digital too. I have to go far to see digital.
Boring interview!!
