That's some hardcore stuff right there.

Freaking wow. I've always considered video game storylines pfft a waste of time, but this I could get into (if I were to ever play video games again, which of course I won't).

At the high end, video games are really in the process of transforming into interactive movies. And curiously, vice versa in some situations. Like all of the Oats Studios stuff is 'almost' video games. All of their ADAM series is made using Unity, which is a common, powerful video game engine/development studio. Exciting times.
