acidSpinesays...Who swapped nanna's angina medicine with pure MDMA?
doremifasays...She's cool. Seriously.
swedishfriendsays...When I used to go to raves in and around chitown there would usually be a wide range of people there including seniors and teens alike dancing the night away. Whether you were 16, 25, 45 or 75, whether on drugs or straight all are welcome to raves and were all appreciated enough to not be judged based on anything other than their actions towards others. I never felt more free than at raves and I never felt closer to the meaning of it all than when A huge hall of people are all moving together as one.

MDMA is great and by FDA guidlines should be sold over-the-counter but People would be on all kinds of substances and lots of people were straight too(especially towards the mid to late 90's). I got into it as a designated driver for my younger brother and his friends (I did not even drink alcohol until the summer of my 23rd birthday). The point for me was the music and dancing and "syncing" that happens when humans do things together for a long enough period of time.
I know it was an important piece of culture that cities all over tried to stomp out when they should have supported it and worked to make it as safe as possible like they would with any other cultural events. How many situations can you feel that free in with such a wide variety of people all getting along and learning to be tolerant of eachother?
FlowersInHisHairsays...Terrible noise. It amuses me that for almost a minute, these people are dancing to sirens.
