Researchers in Singapore, with a lot of time on their hands, have gone back to aircraft designs from the 1800s, before the Wright brothers took flight. They claim this is the first time a machine with this wing configuration has ever flown, and go on to say it may be more stable and quieter than conventional aircraft.
