MikesHL13says...Great clip.
Rasch, is this personal?
BicycleRepairMansays...The real irony here is that "Sven" is a typical Swedish name, and not Norwegian, which typically uses Svein or Svenn. And I still cant find the funny in "curb", not just this joke, but every joke, its just never, ever funny.

If you can be bothered/care, try out Season 7, I'm not a huge fan of some of the early seasons but Season 7 has been pretty funny Especially if you liked Seinfeld, if not, you'll probably hate it twice as much heh.
EmptyFriendsays...was that Rabbit of Super Troopers?
evil_disco_mansays..."... dancing." haha
Just a matter of time before I get this whole series on DVD. I've loved every clip I've seen from it.
Deanosays...The only problem with this clip is that there isn't enough context to see why Sven might immediately take offence. For that reason this clip is not so funny. But I am a Curb fan.

Yes indeed it was Erik Stolhanske, of Broken Lizard fame.
swedishfriendsays...Language, culture, food, is almost the same. If you can read one language you can read the other. It is harder when speaking to understand everything because of the accents. The variations in habitat have more of a cultural impact than nationality. But I must say I meet people from Norway, Sweden and Denmark who are fiercely nationalistic even though we share so much history and culture but I don't find that to be the norm and saying Sven is a Norwegian name is certainly not accurate. It is a name much older than the current nations as are most names and cultures in Scandinavia.

Throbbinsays...We're all pink on the inside.
MycroftHomlzsays...Sven is also popular in Denmark...
TheFreaksays...Once you've been to Sweden and Norway it's very clear...they're the same.
Ralghasays...The funniest part of this video was the subtitled translation. Literally translated back to English, the end is something like... "Sorry, honest mistake... Is there discord with Swedes?" "Who knows." "Alright already."
