blankfistsays...Nailed it! It's got everything I love in this video: dependence vs. self-reliance, reason being defined as counterintuitive to emotional thinking, and critical thinking leading to independent intellect strengthening the individual.
rougysays...A genuinely intelligent assessment of what humanity should be.
Unfortunately, in so doing it had to discount the influence of stupidity, thuggery, and dogma, the perennial STDs of humanity.
It is not enough for the enlightened to know the way.
We must keep the way open by removing the obstacles of ignorance.
videosiftbannedmesays...Fantastic video. It's sad that the average person puts more thought into buying a car, than they do their own paradigms.
fjulessays...I like how he explains it all in a calm and logical matter other than most internet atheists (read: neckbeards like TheAmazingAtheist) who just shout obscenities and go butthurt whenever someone mentions God.
mizilasays...Fuckin democratic propaganda.
crillepsays...I don't get the point of this video. Am I supposed to be telling people to think? I might as well tell a dog to eat shit. He probably won't listen to me, but most likely he will still eat it. This video seems more like an advertisement though. And judging from the blank faces on the people in it, I'd say it was for some kind of zombie cult.
Psychologicsays...^ He's saying that it's more important to have confident beliefs than to examine why you believe them. I think there was also something about evidence being overrated and faith being more important than accuracy.
I may be wrong though, large words confuse me. =)
