Congressman Tells Constituent to "Get a Job"

Of course, in his defense, he definitely has the whiff of old geezer. YouTube Description:

A constituent of Congressman Bill Young (R-FL) asks the Congressman if he would support a bill currently circulating the House of Representatives to raise the minimum wage to $10 dollars an hour, a level that is still below where the minimum wage should be if it had been adjusted for inflation since 1968.

We don't need a minimum wage if there are no jobs. We need to reestablish policies that enable employers to feel safe in investing in this country. We don't have that with this current president.

The Democratic party is doing nothing but placing gross burdens on the employers and individuals of this great country.

Say get a job again! I dare you, I double dare you, you motherfucker! Say get a job one more goddamn time!
The difference between being employed and not being able to afford rent and being unemployed and not being able to afford rent is essentially nothing, oh and Bill, do I look like a bitch?

@bobknight33 yeah bob! You're just confused about how capitalism works. You have to raise the cost of labor so employers can feel good about themselves and their role in society of bleeding money and creating jobs. They'll come flocking back to the US once we raise the minimum wage, you'll see. Keynes told me so in a dream.

Not true what you said about the Democratic Party though. It also applies to the Republican Party. Now it's true again.
