Xbox version sucks, Conan.

Fired up Minecraft last week after a long break. They've added a bunch of stuff to it. Jungle biomes, teleporting NPCs.

But the worst by far are still the hissers, I swear they spawn behind me. Frustrating as hell.

Although I did get knocked off a very high cliff by a skeleton and lost a bunch of my diamond stuff. I am not sure why dropped items by player death disappear faster than the rocks you mine and leave on the floor. Can come back hours later and pick up 100+ blocks. But the 10 minutes it took me to to find where I died and how to get back to it cost me a significant portion of my stuff.


I find it far too boring to play without the monsters though.

Update 1.3 is imminent for the PC, it adds a number of new and interesting features.

damn this guy made such a killing off this thing... it just keeps comin! hire him for Diablo IV ... i want a first person implementation of diablo inside MC, might be better than III

i like how he gets immediately that there is no point and the graphics suck... and then becomes enthralled... another one mines the dust@! he has seen the light

This wasn't that good. They should have shown him player made worlds and the crafting/farming systems. I could set up a way better world for him to explore with tutorials built in.

I only play 3D Vision games after a healthy dose of pot brownie - a fantastic experience I must say. I refuse to play Minecraft because OpenGL has no 3D Vision support. I sure wish nVidia did something about that
