deathcow, you didn't hear it correct. a feminist isn't putting on a fake smile, or covering up their anger with situation, whereas in their opinion many women just put up with the "man's world" and have to "grin-and-bear-it" or not express their anger and frustration with institutions. Of course I'm not a feminazi, so I'm not sure I should be translating.

Steinem is a walking/talking contradiction anyway. What she did was to belittle women who lived one way of life, while trying to push how she pretended to live.

There is nothing wrong with a strong career woman, and inversely, there is nothing wrong with a home-maker/housewife.
