did I just watch the entire movie? That was one of the longest trailers I have ever seen. Still, I'm very curious. i would like to watch it. Never read the book, but this sort of theme always interests me.

So the Wachowskis made one decent movie (the Matrix) which they got accused of plagiarizing and since then have done utter crap. This trailer looks interesting, but I'm going in skeptical...

I'm intrigued, but also super wary.

From the trailer this could be utterly amazing... OR it could be a piece of self indulgent, convoluted, meaningless rubbish.

Too hard to tell thus far.

I hope it's amazing, but kinda expect it to be the latter.

I thought Bound was pretty good, though it's been a while since I've seen it.

Yes, Bound was a very good movie. Had a lot of the same shooting style as the Matrix.>> ^AeroMechanical:

Is this a movie? How the hell are they going to fit it all in? It will probably clock in well over 3 hours. Looks good tho

I saw the film that guy did after Run Lola Run, and it was one of the worst films I have ever sat through. I genuinely hated it.

Predicting what this film will be like is an exercise in futility.

Obviously a mash-up of 4 or 5 different movies. I want to see the Asian one.

Mmm yea there seems to be so much content here, I can't even begin to think how it could all be stuffed into a 2-3 hour movie. The idea of the story could be epic, but it would take a very long time to tell. it is a shame Hollywood won't take the hint from anime and create 13-26 episode TV series with the high production values of movies.
