i still have this on TiVo .... i just can't bear to hit delete yet!!

I havent seen this film, and I'd like to see it based on this, but it seems like some pretty wooden characters.

deathcow: Clerks is a legend in the indie movie scene. Kevin Smith, who dropped out of film school here in Vancouver, made this for literally a few thousand bucks. The dialogue is crackerjack, but none of the principals could charitably be called "actors"- at least not at this stage in their careers. Well, maybe except for Jason Mewes.

Go see it.

You don't see Clerks for the acting, but for the dialog and incessant use of profanity. Not a huge fan of Kevin Smith's, but this one was my favorite of his dialog-wise and Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back was the one where I found myself laughing the hardest. Some of his others were pretty big disappointments, IMO - Chasing Amy and Mallrats being the ones that stick out in my mind right now...

Clerks gets an instant upvote. This is one of the first movies which I´ve seen in their original language. Besides this, Clerks is just awesome.
