New PSA directed by acclaimed filmmakers Joel and Ethan Coen for ThisIsReality.org, with the aim of debunking "clean coal" industry propaganda. It was produced in partnership with Al Gore’s Alliance for Climate Protection.

I 100% agree. I've seen several "Clean Coal" billboards, and they make me angry. Carbon sequestration is simply delaying the inevitable. It's still a fossil fuel, should not even be mentioned in the same sentence as renewable energy, such as hydro, solar, wind.

Hell, even if you could extract energy from the coal "cleanly", you still can't take it from the ground without destroying the landscape and risking smoldering coal fires that burn for centuries. We must get free of coal, the worst of the fossil fuels.

I'd call this *viral. Just like the *meme of "clean coal"
