Cindy, Not Cinderella

wallacesays...

This kind of thing is usually presented as being obviously ridiculous. Be nice - don't make fun of people - don't break your friends' stuff. How stupid everyone used to be. We're so much smarter and more sophisticated than they were.

KaiErsays...

Hey... this sort of reminds me of the time when I was a kid and a man appeared in my room one night... just like this. He had his magic wand, and he was wearing the same dress. He also didn't want me to tell anyone either. He said the exact same things to me!

He wanted me:

To be "clean and neat"
To "join in the games" ("Join in wholeheartedly in any game suggested.")
Not to be "too noisy or rough".
Not to "tease" him.
To "Obey the rules of the game and be a good loser".
And... he too whispered in my ear, right before I sat in the chair, "Be a good winner."

He was in a hurry to leave, so I guess that was the same thing as "Remember to leave on time."

And, the strangest thing of all... when I woke up, my mother introduced him as "Father Ted", not "Mary's sister".

Weird coincidince.
