I really don't give a shit about sports (which is surprising as I am an competitive couchsitter of highest dedication) but holy shit, every word that man said is absolutely true and needs to be heard by everyone. Especially athletes competing in closethiding.
I don't care which team that football dude will play for but I hope they win.

Impressed. Audre Lorde was much more then a civil rights activist though. But still impressed.

What kills me is that there are people who could listen to this and still think like bigots.

There will come a day in sports when "He's gay" will be as shocking as "He's black". That day is now one day closer.

You should probably avoid Kansas then...at least for the foreseeable future. Considering the House passed a bill that legalizes and protects bigots from lawsuits for discrimination.
