This has got to be one of my favorite Sagan clips. Very well explained.

I just don't get how people can't understand the concept of evolution and natural selection when mankind has been imposing this kind of artificial selection for millennia in order to breed and create various grains, orange carrots, fatter cows, leaner pigs, Jack Russel terriers, and on, and on, and on, and on, and on. It's a concept that has been an essential part agriculture for as long as we've had civilization.

Sketch: The people that refuse evolution believe that God created all the plants and animals solely to serve man. Therefore, the fact that we can modify plants and animals is God's will. You just have to think very, very ego-centrically.
