This documentary takes a look at mountaintop extraction of coal in West Virginia. It explores the effects on the environment and the health of residents in the area. The film dramatizes the urgency for a discussion on coal given the reliance on coal for generating 50% of the electricity in this country.

After we had our house apprised when we moved out from West Virginia, we found it had dangerously high levels of radon gas. For years the coal mining industry has done the same old business as usual approach to mining. It is high time that people raised some serious hell for them and demanded a change for their community.
