bleedmegoodsays...*promote
siftbotsays...Self promoting this video and sending it back into the queue for one more try; last queued Monday, August 30th, 2010 3:03pm PDT - promote requested by original submitter bleedmegood.
Retroboysays...Apparently the movie cost an arm and a leg. Looks like the last scene was 50% of the budget.
Samaelsmithsays...Yes, that was indeed awesome!
Shepppardsays...I really have to ask though..
I mean, it seems obvious to me, but I'm not sure.
Do Indian people actually know how terribad their movies actually are, and sit there facepalming like we do? Or do most of them not actually know anything better, and sit there thinking that they're watching the best movie ever?
lore_weaversays...Oh hey, my arm's off.
I guess he wasn't a member of the ARMy.
I gotta hand it to you.
It appears as though he was un-armed.

Just watch the western audience of a Michael Bay Transformer movie ... people are dumb all over the world
chilaxesays....
ponceleonsays...Lawl... looks like bollywood finally discovered CGI.
Deanosays...Dunno if I read it here before about Avatar but we think blue people in some fantasy setting is an awesome film while Indian audiences consider that tired and redundant - they've got all that sort of stuff in their religion and mythologies. To them running about in the street singing and dancing is totally awesome.
In short it's about cultural differences. And I'd rather watch the above film rather than the likes of Inception which turns the wonder of dreaming into a moronic heist procedural. To be fair though, most Hollywood films are utter tosh. Yet to quote you, do Western audiences "sit there thinking that they're watching the best movie ever?"

kurtdhsays...Holllly crap! I was watching this video not logged in. When I saw the last 15 seconds, I burst out into laughter so hard, I made it a point to login, upvote, and comment! Unexpected, but hilarious.
Drachen_Jagersays...I like how he throws the sword sidearm but it comes in flipping end over end.
Somehow I knew the guy's arm was going to get chopped off from the moment he grabbed the woman.
yellowcsays...I like how you can pretty much fill in the entire movie from that end scene alone. Not that I didn't think it was fucking epic.
Lannsays...Time to break out in dance!
Shepppardsays...For clarification purposes:
I'm not making fun, I'm genuinely curious. Is this over the top action stuff (Flipping out the top of a jeep as it goes off a ramp and hits a helicopter, or, that ancient horse chase scene) typical Indian movies, or are there more?
No, I also don't mean musicals, I mean like actual thrillers, or anything remotely realistic, or is this typical Indian movie culture?
Tymbrwulfsays...Oh, this reminds me of the 80's golden age of action movies.
Nostalgia
